EcoGovLab Environmental Governance Intern Program 2023: Azusa, California

The Azusa-EcoGovLab Environmental Justice Research Intern program is centered in Azusa, California. It is open and free for high school and community college students in Azusa, as well as other city residents. The program is designed to help students prepare for college, careers, and sustained community leadership. The internship program will start in January 2023 and run to July 2023. Participants are expected to spend about 5-10 hours per month involved in program activities, and are expected to be active throughout the year.

EcoGovLab’s EcoEd has been working with Ten Strands to translate environmental case study research on environmental injustice with UCI undergraduates into curriculum for California’s 11th and 12th grade high school students, funded by the California Department of Education.
